Film Screening: Across the Lake

Marcella Ernest (Ojibwe) is an interdisciplinary artist and scholar. Her film Across the Lake is a short experimental documentary film about questions of borders, Indigeneity, colonialism, movement, and living between and across the colonial frame of citizenship and nation-state.

Sinan Antoon is an Iraqi born poet, novelist, and translator. His works include The Corpse Washer, The Book of Collateral Damage, and the forthcoming poetry collection Postcards from the Underworld.

Dani Zelko is an artist, poet, and publisher from Argentina. His published series Reunión develops testimonies into poems through intimate encounters with people as a listener and transcriber.
